What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Accepted Answer

We offer optional cancellation insurance at the time of booking. If you purchase cancellation insurance, you’ll have the most flexibility to change your rental plans.If you choose not to purchase cancellation insurance, you may reschedule your booking one time within 14 days of your original rental date, subject to availability. Cancellations without cancellation insurance are not refundable.

Does the sauna have to go in my backyard?

No. The Backyard Barrel Sauna can be placed in any suitable, level, vehicle-accessible area on your property. How much space do I need for delivery and setup?

When choosing a location for your sauna, please consider the following:The sauna must be placed fully on your property.We require at least 9 ft wide, 15 ft long, and 9 ft high clearance for access and placement, including space for the truck towing the sauna.No overhead obstructions such as low-hanging wires or branches.The sauna must be at least 3 ft away from buildings such as your house, garage, or sheds.The ground should be relatively level for safe use and comfort.If you’re unsure whether your property can accommodate the sauna, send us a message and we’ll help you figure it out.Note: The sauna is heavy and delivered by a vehicle. If we need to drive over grass, soil, or other non-paved surfaces, it may leave indentations or tire tracks. We are not liable for damage to lawns, flower beds, or landscaping, so please choose your sauna location accordingly.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

We recommend being home during delivery so we can place the sauna exactly where you want it and confirm safe access. If you can’t be home or have specific delivery instructions, please contact us in advance so we can coordinate.

How many people fit in the rental sauna?

The Backyard Barrel Sauna comfortably fits 6–8 adults, making it ideal for groups, families, or cozy spa nights with friends.

Does the rental sauna need electricity?

Accepted Answer

No. Our sauna uses a wood-burning stove and does not require electricity, which makes it perfect for most backyards and off-grid locations.

Do you deliver outside Winnipeg?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we deliver the Backyard Barrel Sauna outside Winnipeg for a small additional fee of $3 per km for delivery and pickup. Distance is calculated from the Winnipeg perimeter using Google Maps.

Can I tow the sauna myself with Tow & Go?

Yes. Our Tow & Go option allows you to handle pickup and drop-off yourself with no per-kilometre charges. On the rental request form, simply note “Make it a Tow & Go”.To tow the sauna safely, you'll need:A valid driver's licenseA vehicle capable of towing 3,500 lbsA hitch with a 2" ballA working 4-pin or 7-pin connectorPickup is before 4:00 pm, and return is due before 11:00 am on your final day.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is two (2) nights, giving you plenty of time to heat, enjoy, and fully experience the sauna.

How much firewood comes with the rental?

Accepted Answer

Your rental includes enough firewood for 4–5 hours of burn time per night.You can bring your own suitable firewood or purchase additional bundles from us for $20 per bag.

How is the sauna cleaned between rentals?

Accepted Answer

After each rental, our team thoroughly cleans and sanitizes the sauna interior. We use a wood-safe cleaning product designed specifically for sauna environments.To help keep the sauna clean for everyone, we ask guests to leave footwear outside the unit and sit on towels where possible.
